Wow, doesn't time fly.

A Belated Happy New Year for 2007, 2008 and 2009

3 years since I was active - I never realised I would 'disappear' for so long, I needed a break from it all to spend quality time with my family - DA was sucking me in deep and I was struggling - the events way back on this site late '05 gave me a kick in the right direction.

Well, the kiddies are growing fast - 7 & 9 now for those intersted - and soaking so much information. I keep doing an occasional "Question Time" - they can ask me anything and I have to be able to answer it best I can - some bizzare questions crop up, from "How do full boats float" to "What is Water made from" - Chemistry lessons at 6 years old are great fun.

Art? Hmm, not sure if I could anymore - never have the inkling to fire up tg - it is still installed - maybe one day...It doesn't really matter for me now, not in the grand scheme of things, it was great to do.

As for DA and the friends I made on here, thanks so much for your kind and thoughtful words over the years - kept me going nicely.

I intend on 'lurking' - sounds awful that, but I guess thats what I'll do - the odd comment here and there when I get some of that precious time to myself...

In the meantime, as Stotty used to say - "Enjoy!"

- Where did the artist inside go? the flicker of inspiration? the injection of patience? - did all these ever vanish - just deep inside.

-no time for art
-lots of time for family
-lots of time for work
-lots of time for love
-no time for DA - not any more.

erhaps one day the flicker may get bigger
- maybe once the flock has flown
- when time returns to me.

I'm lovin this time of year - well not the queues, but everything else.

A new piece of news I read today - Support Jark in a new way - donate via paypal to the fund to help him legally - I am pleased to help boost the fund the best I can - perhaps you may were going to renew your sub? - hmm, which solicitor will you fund?

The Katrina disaster still shocks on a daily basis. I see more promising reports on the news today and hope the relief gets going even faster.

It may not be much, stotty passing on his thoughts to all those affected in the recent tragedy in the Southern states, but its very much from the heart. I have donated myself and would encourage those who haven't to do that now! - read that moombeam13 news item or follow one of `bookdivas links in her journal.
