Unfinished Terragen art - This is probably a first for me but I am after some good suggestions on what to do with this one - I like it up to a point, but I still need to do some work - i.e textures aren't quite fuzzy enough - a distinct lack of shoreline - clouds need tidying up, that sort of thing, I am not sure whether to keep the foreground rock in there or not - even the water...mmm

Please give me some guidance, I have looked at this for long enough now and need some fresh eyes.

This is a 28 hour render on a 2.4ghz 1gig machine :o (Eek) - I decided to test out my new PC upgrade big style - a 4097x4097 render on max quality to see how fast it would do this. The first 5 renders hung the box.

You comments keep me submitting and are most appreciated :D (Big Grin)

Well i like how it goes into snow from the sand or whatever. Shoreline lacking, you know. I say keep that rock out in front. But that's just me. I dunno what else to tell you, so far it's looking good. ;-) (Wink)

woah huge render :s i liek the colors of all this seems to all match well, but i dont liek the foreground rock too much but thats me, and i know you said its unfinished, but your right about the textures, the snow is like just sitting there, but otherwise looks great, be nice to be able to see the water floor a bit maybe?
thats pretty amazing

hmmmm, suggestions,..suggestions,...i don't know, maybe add some detail on the shore maybe? i can't wait to see the finished product.
I like the overall color. but anyway. the top of the mountains are far to steep for that snow, it looks kinda strange. the land just suddenly drops into the ocean. lighting looks strange, like its coming from 2 directions (left and right), the sun rays are reflected (something I never seen before) and its hard to see wether the rays go to or come from the mountains.
I personalyy feel that the big rock in fromt is obscuring the flow of the picture. The lighting is very unique to this piece so keep it that way. also i feel thta the brown adn white dont really blend that well.

Just some thoughts.
