I am going to the beach for an extended weekend, so couldn't resist a little sand in this just felt like getting my bucket and spade and having a play

The techy bits..
I made some drastic changes to the Cathedral Rivers scene - the big ones are the new camera angle and a few terrain modifications to liven up the straighter cliff faces. Worked more on the textures and changed the water a lot too - I hate using the surf plug-in but following suggestions, here you all are. 17 textures if anyone is interested.

EDIT: If you see a white line on the left, sorry about that, if not, enjoy - I tried editing the deviation.

I love the detail of the disturbance in the water nearest shore... and added touch that makes it so much more realistic.

overall a wonderfully done piece. :}

Some of your best water yet, I think. Excellent textures! This is deffinately more lush then usual. Love the added detail of wet sand along the shores.

I think the water is a bit dark and the colour of the waves are a bit white/flat. That and the fact that the large cloud body looks ever so slightly 2D (though that might just be me). Other than that, I think this is an amazing scene. I really like the way the river is surrounded by cliffs on all sides, reminds me of the Argonauth from the Lord of the Rings.
Good job on creating those rock formations, they look very natural and very intreguing. I think you did a great job on the textures too, as they look very good and they seem just the right size.
